Rating Evidence Submission

UPF uses documented competitive history to establish a player’s starting rating as accurately as possible before native federation results take over.

What Players Can Submit

Players can submit credible rating and competition evidence such as FargoRate, APA, TAP, Digital Pool results, recognized tournament history and other established league or tour records.

Screenshot Evidence

When a source does not provide a public integration, a player can submit screenshots from the player’s own account or app showing the relevant rating, skill level, match volume or competitive history. UPF records the source, capture date and verification status with the submission.

What Matters Most

UPF considers the displayed rating or skill level, the amount of history supporting it, how recent the evidence is, whether the identity can be verified and how closely the source reflects the discipline being classified.

Evidence Is Not Averaged Blindly

Different systems measure ability differently. UPF converts useful evidence into a common provisional estimate and weights that evidence according to quality. A strong continuous rating with substantial history does not carry the same uncertainty as a coarse skill level supported by only a few matches.

Conflicting Evidence

When credible sources disagree significantly, UPF can request more evidence, widen the player’s provisional uncertainty or place the profile into review while native competition begins resolving the difference.

Privacy

Players should submit only information relevant to competitive identity, rating and history. UPF does not need unrelated private account information to establish a competitive profile.

Native Results Take Priority Over Time

External evidence is most important at the beginning. As a player accumulates substantial UPF-rated competition, federation results become the primary authority for the player’s current UPF Rating.

UPF principle: Bring us the strongest evidence available. Then let your play establish the rest.
