Independent leagues can connect their players to UPF identity, ratings, sanctioned reporting and championship opportunity without giving up local ownership or branding.
Keep Your League
Your organization can retain its name, local operators, venues, schedules, dues, division structure, local payouts and internal administration while participating under the federation standards that apply to UPF-recognized competition.
Connect Player Identity
Players use one UPF Player ID across participating leagues and tournaments. Existing local player records can map to the federation identity instead of creating another disconnected profile.
Report Competition Once
League Commander scoresheets can normalize finalized match and game results into the UPF Competition Ledger. Local standings and administration remain local while the federation receives the competitive observations needed for ratings, history and qualification.
Use Shared Technology
League Commander supports rosters, schedules, scoresheets, standings, qualification and reporting. Organization-level branding and configuration remain separate from the federation’s shared identity and competition services.
Maintain Local Control
Sanctioning does not make UPF the day-to-day operator of an independent league. The federation establishes the requirements for competition that seeks UPF recognition while the organization remains responsible for its local operation.
Create Larger Opportunity
Connected players can participate in sanctioned Tours, Cups and championships according to published eligibility standards. Multiple independent organizations can therefore contribute to a deeper competitive network without becoming one monolithic league.
